Definition
A unique identifier assigned by the Department’s IT Systems to a specific financial transaction, used to track, verify, and reference payments or reimbursements made from a Workforce Australia provider to one or more participants, including Wage Subsidy and Employment Fund.

Note: One Transaction can have many Commitment records associated with it, because a provider may make a purchase from a single vendor that contains goods/services for multiple participants – or they may be bulk-purchasing items that can be later claimed back as a commitment when allotted to a specific participant.
