Definition

 A Vacancy Placement is the assignment of a Participant to a job opportunity recorded as a Vacancy in the Department’s IT Systems, where the Participant is placed into paid employment, including placements under programs such as Work Foundations, Real Jobs Real Wages or other employment initiatives. A participant can have more than one Vacancy Placement with more than one provider and/or employer.

Comments

Vacancy Placements are a subset of Vacancy Referrals, where the Vacancy Referral has Referral Result Code 'P' (Placement Confirmed) and an Outcome Snap record exists (ie when an outcome has been triggered and starts to track in the Department’s IT Systems). A Vacancy Referral links a participant to a particular job opportunity, recorded as a Vacancy in the Department's IT System.
