Comments
'Exit' or 'Exited' means that a participant has exited Workforce Australia. This will usually happen automatically (known as an 'effective exit') but there are some instances where a provider can manually exit a participant. An effective exit occurs when he Participant (Mutual Obligation) is no longer receiving an eligible Income Support Payment.
a. This can include where a Participant is in a job and has had 6 consecutive fortnights with nil rate of Income Support, or where the Participant has not lodged a report of income with Services Australia (even if this is zero) 14 days after their Report Due Date
b. The Participant is commenced in Disability Employment Services or the Community Development Program.
c. The Participant begins receiving Self-Employment Assistance Small Business Coaching (formerly known as ‘Comprehensive Services’).
d. A participant will exit their Period of Assistance at the time that they exit the last Contract Referral Placement in the Period of Assistance, provided that they do not return to a program within 91 days. If a participant exits and returns to the program after 91 days (the allowable break period), they will begin a new period of assistance. If a participant exits and returns to the program inside of 91 days, they will be reinstated in their current period of assistance.
